"In teaching others we teach ourselves" - Proverb
Here we are in the cold months of March. Did I say that out loud? I apologize for my absence since the last time we got together to have "art talk".
Last week ART GOES TO SCHOOL visited SKS. Many volunteers graciously gave their time to talk to your children about the masterpieces of Van Gogh, Wessleman, Warhol, Bonnard to name a few. Thank you current parents Mrs. Hintze and Mrs. Irish for volunteering their time to be presenters of ART GOES TO SCHOOL.
A lot has been stirring up in art for the preparation of this year's art show SCAN.
Our kindergarten learned and painted Vincent Van Gogh's Starry Night! Oh what a "starry" mess the tables looked.
